Moving on to the Routines

The Prior Lake synchronized swim team completed the figures portion of its regular season April 17.

So now it's on to routines.

The Lakers were at St. Louis Park and lost the dual 29-0 with senior Kendra Wagner posting Prior Lake's top score. She finished 11th overall with a mark of 60.429.

"The girls were happy with their performance and are excited to start the routine part of the season," said Lakers coach Katy Bohnsack.

Prior Lake's first routines meet is April 24 at home versus Edina and Eden Prairie at 4 p.m. The second one is April 29 at home versus Osseo.

The third is one at at Eden Prairie May 1 with Hopkins also competing, while the final one is May 6 at home versus St. Louis Park.

Meanwhile, other scores for the Lakers in the final figures meet were: junior Jessica Shorba (15th, 59.798), senior Jessica Gillies (16th, 58.592), senior Dani Shupe (18th, 58.473), sophomore Haley Wagner (23rd, 56.153), senior Julia Andrus (25th, 55.859), ninth-grader Mackenzee Elder (27th, 55.105), eighth-grader Grace Cline (28th, 55.092), eighth-grader Claire Benson (32nd, 54.535), ninth-grade Emersen Thomos (35th, 54.162) and sophomore Willow Rivera (41st, 51.254).
