Thanks for a great season!  ALL TEAMS:  Please return your IM jersey if you haven't done that yet.  You can drop them off in the Activities Office with your name attached --- to avoid a $25 charge.

We've had a few questions about IM basketball so far, so here's what we can tell you:

• IM Basketball is open to ALL 9th-12th grade students.
• All individual players must register in order to participate this winter.
• Team registration will open mid-November.
• Students can form their own teams or we will help during Open Gym nights in December.  We recommend having 8-10 players per team.
• We will begin open gyms on December 11th for grades 9/10 and on December 13th for grades 11/12.
• Games will continue every week (1-2 a week) from mid-December through January.  There will be no games over winter break.
• For Freshmen & Sophomores, your games will be on Monday evenings.  Juniors & Seniors will play on Wednesday evenings.
• Playoffs will follow the regular season if everything goes smoothly (bracketed play) and we will host a championship game at each level in mid-February.
• There have been 12 to 18 teams in each of the two divisions (Monday/Wednesday).
• We will track team information/standings this season.
• Cost is $75/person for the season --- this helps with officials payment, gym space, supervisors and cost of jerseys.  

9th and 10th grade teams will play games on Monday nights  -- generally 6:45pm - 9:50pm

11th and 12th grade teams will play games on Wednesday nights 6:30pm - 9:50pm

Everyone needs to register online individually.

We cannot guarantee that all "friends" will be on the same team.  We will do our best to equally distribute the number of players on each team.  We will help place individuals on a team if needed.

This intramural league is all about having fun and playing basketball with your friends and classmates --- soak it all in!  

We strongly encourage all participants to attend the first Open Gym night in December for rules, organization, and team roster finalization.
