Volunteer Schedule 2022-2023

We will need many helping hands to assist with some of the details of this program.  Please let us know if you can help with loading/unloading equipment at the trailers, distributing lift tickets/rental forms, assisting in the rental area or supervising at Buck Hill.

We are in the process of reaching out to our parent volunteers for the upcoming season!

Tips for MS Ski Trip members:

Ski/snowboard trailers will be available between 6:50 - 7:15AM in the lower TOMS lot for drop-off of equipment for BOTH Hidden Oaks and Twin Oaks middle school students.

Warm clothes and boots are stored INSIDE the buildings (NOT on the trailers) during the day.  Locations for storage:

HOMS - near front office        TOMS - across from PE office

Lift tickets and rental forms are handed out afterschool each Monday -- please be on time and have patience as we begin this process.  We will have parent volunteers helping to hand out lift tickets/rental forms at each middle school.

Buses will leave from the south parking lots at 2:30PM; or once all students are ready for departure.  Masks are required on all district buses.  Transportation to Buck Hill is included in all three packages; parents/families must arrange their own transportation home from BuckHill.

Beginner lessons are available from 3:45-4:30PM.  Meet by the school bell at Buck Hill.  Staff will offer basic group lessons to all lift ticket purchasers.

Ski Trip staff and volunteers will help in the rental area and then will be stationed in the Fireplace Room in the main chalet from 4PM - 7:30PM.

Supervision ends at 7:30PM; so all students need to arrange for a ride home from Buck Hill!

Registration questions may be directed to CommunityEd@plsas.org

Let's have a fun, safe outdoor experience this winter!
