The Section 3AA meet follows the SSC Championships. The prelims are May 29 and the finals are May 31 and both days are at Prior Lake High School.
Prior Lake has won the Section 3AA crown the last three years. Last year, the team sent 14 athletes to state, which helped the team finish a program-best sixth in the team standings.
This year's state competition is June 7-8 at Hamline University in St. Paul. Wayzata is the defending team champion.
