Dawson Garcia continues to score at a high rate for the No. 2-ranked Prior Lake boys basketball team.

The 6-foot-10 junior forward went over 1,000 points for his career Jan. 3 in the Lakers' 93-62 home win over Chanhassen in a battle of Section 2AAAA foes. Garcia pumped in 35 points in the victory.

Prior Lake followed with a 75-60 victory versus Lakeville South the next day in South Suburban Conference play with Garcia leading the way with 26 points.
