The Prior Lake dance team faced some strong competition at the Wayzata Invitational Jan. 19 in preparation for the postseason.

The Lakers were third in the jazz funk out of 18 teams and ended up sixth out of 17 schools in high kick.

Prior Lake will compete in the Eastview Showcase Jan. 26, before getting ready for the Section 1AAA meet, which is Feb. 9 at Bloomington Kennedy High School.
