This information is for Middle School (7th and 8th graders) and all High School students wishing to be on 2024 Spring team.

Tryout Dates    

Dates: 9/12, 9/19 and 9/26 if needed. Everyone is expected to be at the 9/12 first tryout night. 

Location:  Minneapolis Gun Club

(20006 Judicial Road, Prior Lake, MN)

Procedures for try-outs:

Must bring to try-out:

• 12- or 20-gauge shotgun in working order. We will inspect all guns prior to try-out.

• $15 for the 2 rounds. Cash or check made out to Laker Trap Shooting.

• 2 boxes of shells.  12- or 20-gauge (Target loads, 7.5 or 8 shot, 1300 or less FPS); You will shoot two rounds of 25.

• Copy of state gun safety certificate. (REQUIRED)

• Shell pouch or vest.   

Note:  After first tryout dates you will be notified on next steps.

Season:  April-June 2024, Tuesdays or Wednesdays after school at Minneapolis Gun Club.  Athletes must provide own transportation.
