MS Trapshooting Updates:

The 2019 MS Trapshooting season will begin on Tuesday, August, 27, 2019.

There will be some changes to the Middle School program -- so please read the information below:

There will be a Parent/Athlete/Coach INSTRUCTION/SHOOT on Tuesday, August 27 at 4PM at the Minneapolis Gun Club ---- Rain or shine!

Who can participate?  All middle school students who are 12 years of age or older with a firearm safety certificate. 

After our instructional meeting, all participants will shoot one round of 25 shots with instruction from all coaches.

Then on September 10 we will have all MS participants shoot two rounds of 25 shots.  The top 20 shooters (by average after 3 rounds) will then shoot with the High School group in the spring of 2020. 

Fall Dates:  Tuesday, August 27th and Tuesday, September 10 (3:30pm - dusk)

Spring Dates (2020):  8 weeks on Wednesdays starting on April 1, 2020

Team Size: FALL = No limit; top 20 will move on to compete with HS program in the spring
Location:  Minneapolis Gun Club, Prior Lake
Fee for Fall: $25 Payable to Lakers Trap Shooting Club on August 27.  This fee includes the range fees for 3 rounds of trap.  
Athletes must supply own 12- or 20-gauge shotgun and 3 boxes of shells.
Required: All participants must possess a valid Minnesota gun safety certificate and provide a copy to the coaches prior to the start of first week. A parent/grandparent or adult guardian must be in attendance for entire assigned time that the student-athlete shoots on these first two days.
