Dessler to Swim at South Dakota Next Year
The Prior Lake Athletic Office announced April 14 that Taylor Dessler will swim at the Division I level next fall at the University of South Dakota.
The senior was a four-year letterwinner for the Lakers, helping the team finish 14th in the Class AA state team standings last fall. She was part of the 200 medley relay team that was ninth.
Dessler recently signed her national letter of intent to compete for the Coyotes in the Summit League.
As a sophomore, Dessler was on the Lakers' 200 medley relay that took third at state.
In her ninth-grader season, she was part of the 200 freestyle relay that finished 15th and the 400 freestyle relay that was 13th. She was also 21st in the 200 freestyle.
