Return to Play Safely

Consistent with Executive Order 20-56, ISD 719 schools will begin allowing limited access to its outdoor fields beginning June 15, 2020 to authorized community groups as well as indoor facilities beginning on July 6, 2020. Pods of more than 25 are not permitted, and all users must follow the Outdoor Recreation Guidelines maintained by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources.

All users, groups, and individuals must adhere to the Minnesota Department of Health Guidelines for youth sports. Guidelines for interactions, skill work, and sizes of the pods (10 or less) per field/facility are outlined in this document. Students and staff will be required to sanitize their hands upon arrival and are expected to wear a cloth mask whenever possible.  Masks will be required for staff and highly recommended for athletes outdoors. All users will be required to wear a mask inside District 719 buildings.

Even with caution and preventative measures, an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public setting where people from different households are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can be transmitted even by people who are asymptomatic and can lead to serious illness and death. By accessing the district’s fields and indoor facilities, you and/or your child voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure of COVID-19. Students and staff will be required to self-screen daily using the following guidelines
